We’re committed to excellence

BQF_official_logoFor the third successive time, we have achieved our Committed to Excellence status in recognition for our successful improvement projects.

Our services have been commended as inclusive with validators noting that the people who use our services are at the heart of everything we do.

The accreditation was awarded following a comprehensive assessment by Dave Richards, a British Quality Foundation validator. We provided the assessor with detailed evidence and he discussed our projects with a range of staff from across the organisation before making his decision.

EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Committed to Excellence is an assessment and recognition scheme designed to help organisations to deliver better results. It is an action-based learning project that entails identifying, prioritising and implementing improvement projects using the EFQM Excellence Model and RADAR logic

Dave Richards, British Quality Foundation assessor, said in his final validation report:

“I found that the service user is clearly at the heart of whatever Richmond Fellowship is doing… There is an obvious involvement and engagement with a broad range of staff for the projects which is supported by the enthusiasm of the teams I met during the project discussions.”

“It’s once again been a thoroughly enjoyable validation day for me. There are many competent, enthusiastic and committed people in Richmond Fellowship and I am delighted to have met some more.”
