Who we are

Richmond Fellowship’s Dee House service is a 9 bed 24 hour supported living facility which offers a home and support, for adults with mental ill health in the borough of Cheshire West and Chester.

What we do

We aim to assist people to achieve their desired goals and in turn facilitate their recovery. We aim to provide a safe and supportive environment where users of the service can begin to prepare for a return to independent living or to a less supported environment. The length of stay for a tenant will depend on the needs of the individual.

We aim for a person using the service to stay at Dee for up to 2 years, although we appreciate this may take a little longer for some individuals.

Our support planning is designed to meet needs, build people’s strengths and aspirations and enable independence. We will work in a person-centred way, designing support packages in partnership with those accessing our services.

We use a range of interventions to ensure support is individually tailored to meet need and measure outcomes, enabling individuals to see what they have achieved and the effectiveness of our support.

Who we help

Adults 18 to 65 years of age with mental ill health in the borough of Cheshire West and Chester.

Getting referred

The referral must come from the Community Mental health Team or the Cheshire West and Chester Social Team.

A referral pack will be sent out to the referring agency on their request, which will jointly be completed with the person referring and the person being referred. The person being referred will then be invited to view the property and meet the staff. Following this, an Assessment using needs criteria and risk screen will be completed and then the care manager will take to Panel meeting.
