FUNDRAISING and donations

Every little HELPS

As a leading mental health charity, we’re always grateful to anyone who chooses to donate or fundraise for us.

All money raised specifically for our services; directly benefits the people we support. Our services use donations and fundraising to facilitate activities, for example workshops, art groups, or taking people we support on outings.

If you wish your donation or funds raised from your fundraising activity to go to a specific service, our online donation portal makes it very easy. There’s an option for you to state which service you’d like your donation to go to.

How your fundraising helps

A £30 donation can help towards buying art materials for a wellbeing activity.

A £200 donation can support a service to buy flowers, bulbs, or other gardening materials to help people we support update a communal garden.

A £1,000 donation can help towards paying for a holiday or adventure activity for the people we support.

Help make a DIFFERENCE

If you’re looking to undertake a fundraising activity, such as taking part in a local fun run, marathon or organising a local bake sale, please share your fundraising plans with us in advance so we can help you make the most of your experience.

We may be able to help you to promote your fundraising activity and supply you with our branded materials to create visibility, awareness, and a fun element. Contact our Communications and Marketing Team for more information.

You can also talk to our staff at your local Richmond Fellowship service. They can give you more advice and support you to liaise with our communications team.

Fundraise or DONATE

Fundraise or donate to one of our services today! Our online donation portal makes it very easy.

We’ve had some great support. Here are some examples of where fundraising has directly supported the work of our services:

Sudbury Fun Run

Our Sudbury Supported Housing service in Suffolk took part in the Sudbury Fun Run over several years, raising thousands of pounds. The money raised was used to provide a range of recovery based activities and outings for the people we support.

Tameside

A grant donation for our Tameside Supported Housing service enabled the local team to organise an activity challenge weekend for the people we support.

Castle Young People Service

Castle Young People Service’s fundraising at the Northstowe Running Festival in Cambridgeshire.

Don’t forget GIFT AID

Are you a UK Taxpayer?

Gift Aid can increase the value of your donation at no extra cost to you. Tick the Gift Aid declaration box when making your donation online, depending on the nature of your donation.

The Government will then contribute an extra 25% on top of your donation. This means for every £1 you donate, we receive £1.25.
