Our team of experienced and knowledgeable male and female staff work with a wide range of needs. We can support around 66 people in the community, tailoring the support to individual needs. We concentrate on the person and their personal goals and aspirations.
We can also provide a personal assistant service through an hourly charge.
How we help
We offer one to one support in the community; this can be for tenancy related support, developing domestic skills, help with managing finances, providing emotional support, helping to establish social contacts and to access community facilities.
Our support workers help individuals to identify their needs, agree a support plan and liaise with social services and community mental health teams. The support plan is regularly reviewed to reflect any changes that are needed.
We provide support services on a weekly basis. Our floating support service is available 9-5pm, Monday to Friday. Our personal assistant service operates 9am -7pm, seven days a week.
Who we can help
Our service is for individuals aged over 18 who have a mental health problem. Referrals can be made by social workers, community psychiatric nurses, occupational therapists and psychiatrists. For our floating support service individuals can also self refer. Contact us for an application form.
Support is available to make an application for a direct payment or personal budget.
At the heart of everything we do lies:
- Hope: the belief that recovery is possible for every individual
- Respect: valuing differences and all contributions
- Enabling: giving people encouragement and support to achieve their goals
- Inclusion: the belief that everyone has a right to participate fully in society.
