Who we are
Richmond Fellowship's Wiltshire RSI Community Links service works with individuals affected by mental ill health already living in their own homes to receive assistance with day-to-day tasks and activities, such as budgeting finances or doing the weekly food shop.
What we do
Wiltshire RSI provide a range of services including: Community Links Service, Wiltshire Outreach, Employment Support, and Recovery Workshops.
Community Links Service
Our service is here to provide One to One support for people who are isolated and unsure how best to take their first steps towards engaging with their local communities.
We also offer a range of group activities in social settings around Wiltshire to provide people with greater opportunities to engage more fully in their communities and in their own recovery.
The Outreach service supports people who have, or are recovering from, mental health problems and wish to engage in active meaningful activities as part of their recovery journey.
Active involvement in practical activities provides structure and social contact, helping people on their recovery journey.
Typical Outreach projects are land-based projects in conservation and horticulture and establish strong links with local and national conservation and wildlife organisations including:
- Natural England
- The National Trust
- The Forestry Commission
- Wiltshire Wildlife Trust
- Local Nature Reserves (LNRs).
We can support people in the search to find suitable paid employment - full or part time - or voluntary work.
We offer a range of one-to-one and group support in community settings to provide people with greater opportunities to engage more fully in the employment market in their own communities as part of their recovery.
Employment advisors can support you with:
Identifying skills and experience useful in the workplace or volunteering:
