Who we are

Richmond Fellowship’s Weston-super-Mare Supported Housing Service is tailored for each individual using the service with the ultimate goal to help you manage your accommodation and assist you with reintegration back into independent living and the wider community.

What we do

Our Weston-super-Mare Supported Housing service provides a 10 bed shared house with office.

Our accommodation is for people with mental heath issues with the accommodation available on a temporary basis for 6 to 12 months.

The service has one support worker based on site.

We provide low to medium assistance around housing related support.

Who we help

Applications are accepted from people aged 18 to 65 who are suffering from mental ill health.

We are unable to work with people who:-

- Do not have a local connection
- Have a schedule one offence
- A history of arson
- Who have committed a serious offence, including severe violence
- Who have long term habitual Class A drug use or problematic alcohol use.

We will give consideration to applicants who have a history of substance misuse or alcohol problems.

We would expect that people have been clean from substance misuse and not been alcohol dependant for three months.

We would also expect an applicant to be actively involved with other agencies around this.

Getting referred

Referrals go through a central Hub in North Somerset.

An application form can be found on the supporting People page of the North Somerset Council website or contact the service to request one.
