Who we are
Richmond Fellowship’s Community Resilience and Employment service in Chorley works with individuals affected by mental ill health already living in their own homes to receive assistance with day-to-day tasks and activities, such as budgeting finances or doing the weekly food shop.
What we do
Our service offers support in the following areas:
- Employment (to gain, retain or safely leave employment)
- Voluntary work
- Sports and leisure
- Education and Training
- Arts and Culture
- Eco Activities
- Benefit Support via signposting
- Housing Support via signposting
Our Service User Development Group (SUDE) providing guidance to individuals and groups to establish their role and purpose within local communities. We link in with already established main stream groups in the community and support our service users to attend.
Our SUDE team supports people to set up their own groups which is a user led.
The SUDE team facilitates a variety of projects, including:
Peer Support – positive futures, thrive and survive, Brighter horizons, autism support group, mens and womens support groups.
Social Groups – Buckshaw Village All of Us group.
Activity Groups – Football groups, bosing groups and cycling groups.
Support Work andGroups – Wellness Recovery Groups, Eco Structures, Art and Wellbeing Forum.
