We offer affordable, short term tenancies (up to two years) to individuals who are experiencing mental ill health and are in need of housing. Individuals are assessed so that we can provide them with the right level of support for their needs. This can include home visits or meetings at local facilities and support with daily activities such as shopping and attending appointments.
This support is available Monday-Sunday, 8am-10pm. Outside normal hours a support worker will always be on call.
How we help
We use a recovery based model of support that puts the individual, as their own expert, in the driving seat of their recovery. They are assigned a key support worker who will work with them through their individual support plan.
Individuals will have the opportunity and support to take part in local and national events that interest them and that can help them to develop their skills.
Who we can help
Our scheme is available to anyone over the age of 18 with a mental health problem and a connection to Wandsworth. We encourage referrals from local community mental health team and other providers.
At the heart of everything we do lies:
- Hope: the belief that recovery is possible for every individual
- Respect: valuing differences and all contributions
- Enabling: giving people encouragement and support to achieve their goals
- Inclusion: the belief that everyone has a right to participate fully in society.
