At Park Road, we work with individuals to develop a specific package of support using the Recovery Star framework.
We aim to encourage people to become more confident and independent and help them develop their skills.
How we help
We offer support in every aspect of an individual’s life, from help to maintain a tenancy to accessing education, training and work as well as building up a social network and forming relationships.
This is achieved by one to one support with our staff and working closely with other local organisations to ensure the highest and most appropriate level of support is offered.
Our facilities are made up of six fully self- contained flats with a staff office and communal area. Our dedicated staff provide support on site 9am-9pm with on-call support available out of hours.
Individuals have their own tenancy with Places for People.
Who we can help
Referrals are welcomed from any individual with an enduring mental health problem or support organisation. However, all referrals must be supported by a care co-ordinator and consultant psychiatrist.
At the heart of everything we do lies:
- Hope: the belief that recovery is possible for every individual
- Respect: valuing differences and all contributions
- Enabling: giving people encouragement and support to achieve their goals
- Inclusion: the belief that everyone has a right to participate fully in society.
