Who we are

Richmond Fellowship's Surrey EAs in IAPT Service is embedded within 6 Surrey and NE Hants IAPTs, and provides employment support to people experiencing poor mental health who are accessing the IAPT’s services.

Employment support takes the form of support, coaching, and education via one-to-one interaction with Employment Advisors, and/or access to workshops and webinars developed and provided by the service. The people we support can be unemployed and looking for paid work, or currently employed and seeking support for issues at work or perhaps looking to move jobs.

We provide support hand-in-hand with the client’s therapist, a force multiplier to the quality of support and ensuring the client experiences a cohesive and co-ordinated support plan, delivering a holistic experience for the client.

What we do

We support people experiencing mental ill health on a one-to-one basis, providing confidential, impartial advice and guidance to help you to move forward.

If you’re looking for support to gain employment, we offer a careers advice and guidance service that can help you with job applications, CV preparation, interview practice and support in identifying suitable job opportunities, up to and beyond your job start.

If you would like support to retain your current role, we can work with you and, if you consent, your employer, to make plans and find solutions that enable you to carry on in work or return to work if you have been off work due to ill health.

Who we help

Our service is available to anyone over the age of 18 who has mental ill health, including stress, anxiety and depression; is receiving support from an IAPT service, and is looking to gain, retain or return in employment.
