Nigel Goldie
Nigel Goldie has been involved with mental health issues throughout his working life, from early research within isolated mental hospitals and therapeutic communities to teaching, research and policy analysis in universities for the Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health, NIMHE and other health and local authorities.
Nigel has conducted research projects including the experience of long stay patients in the community and the development of mental health services. Nigel continues to undertake consultancy work and research as well as teaching and writing.
