This area has been the realisation of a dream for one man over a period of several years.  The vision has been to create an extensive 'seed bank' for many of Wiltshire's wild flowers, and in turn, create a habitat which supports a wide range of butterflies and other wildlife.

The Haven is now managed by the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust.  Over time people attending TWIGS have helped construct wood chip paths (also with BTCV volunteers) and worked with volunteers from The Princes' Trust to construct a large wildlife pond.

We are currently growing a range of the plants from seed to market a 'wild flower collection' aimed at encouraging local gardeners to set aside their own 'wildlife reserve'.
