Including felt, silk-card, natural dying, which we then create into gifts, hats, bags and vases.  From inception to creation we all input our thoughts and everyone has can feel part of the process.

Felt making is something we do regularly in the craft studio. We love the versatility of it- it offers opportunities for everyone to be successful at making something fabulous whether it be a wall-hanging, or a panel, bag, or a scrunchie. We have also found new ways to use felt- as a pen, or a Christmas decoration, and continue to explore it's potential.

A team of nine of us have run felt making workshops in local schools to link with the community through working creatively together and also talking simply about the need for emotional well being. We have brought the felt pieces back to Twigs and turned them into wall-hangings with individual pockets that the children can then write any thoughts or concerns that can then be shared at circle time.  The feedback has been so positive from teachers, parents and the children, it also gives  us the confidence and a belief in our own value.
