Who we are:
RF Bletchley is a free and confidential service which supports people who have experience of mental heath problems, (this includes anxiety, depression and work related stress) to maintain their current employment (Retain) or provides support to gain employment, voluntary work or training (Regain).
We are a small staff team consisting of a Service Manager who oversees two sites; in Bletchley the team consists of 3 full time employment advisors. Advisors have a caseload of approximately 30 at any one time which ensures clients receive a highly supportive and personalised service.
What we offer:
We offer information, advice and guidance predominantly through 1:1 face to face interventions with follow up telephone and email support. We offer support with action planning, identifying opportunities, CV preparation, completing job applications, preparing for interviews etc.
Optional group sessions are available delivered by employment advisors and local educational providers.
Retain supports clients to deal with problems at work; developing a plan of action to identify what they want to happen, what they need to know, what support they need, how changes can be made and their implementation.
How we work:
RF believes that the recovery approach is the most valuable and useful way to assess and review the support needs of all clients.
RF believes that the key elements of the recovery approach are that clients will be fully and continually involved in all aspects of their support and decision making process.
Our support will focus on their strengths and aspirations and will encourage all clients to achieve their goals; sessions take place within the Bletchley office which is a calm and friendly environment as well as outreach locations within Milton Keynes, for clients who are unable to travel to our office. Out of hours appointments are offered to anyone who is currently employed.
What we achieve:
On average we achieve a result of 75% success rate of clients returning to employment, training, further education or retaining employment.
In our 2012 client satisfaction survey 100% of the respondents said that they would recommend RF Bletchley Employment service to their friends and families.

To access the service clients need to meet the following criteria:-
- Aged over 18
- Live in the borough of Milton Keynes
- Have experience of or be recovering from mental health problems including stress, anxiety and depression
- Be motivated to return to employment, voluntary work or training; or employed (although not necessarily attending work) and requiring support to manage their mental health and maintain employment
