Meet Our Board

Our Board of Directors are focused on our core mission, leading and directing the ongoing activities of the Richmond Fellowship Group to ensure our strategic objectives are met. All of our staff actively strive to service our shared vision and mission of encouraging, supporting and challenging people with mental health problems.

Our History

In 1959 by Elly Jansen, a young theology student from Holland, tookadvantage of the first Mental Health Act and invited patients from Long Grove Hospital to leave and live with her in the community in Richmond, Surrey, and Richmond Fellowship was born.

Our Mission

Our mission is to encourage, support and challenge people with mental health problems on their recovery journey. Our core founding belief in the concept of recovery has been the guiding light throughout our history.

Publications and Policies

We produce a range of documents to publicise the work that we do.  Many contain insights from Service Users, Staff and the purchasers of our Services such as PCTs and Social Services.
