Peter Corley

Peter was appointed Chair of RF in January 2012, having been a Non-Executive Director and Trustee since 2006.

He was Chair of the Audit & Assurance Committee from 2008 to 2012 and remains a member. He is also a member of the Service Governance Advisory Group. Peter was appointed a Non-Executive Director and Trustee of 2Care in 2011 but stood down upon becoming Chair of RF.

Peter is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and had a career in international banking and corporate finance. Now retired, he has more recently employed his skills as a Non-Executive Director and in various consultancy roles, including the Millennium Commission. Declaration of Interests >

Nigel Goldie

Nigel GoldieNigel has been a Non-Executive Director and Trustee of RF since 2004. He is Chair of the Board’s Remuneration Committee.                                                       

Nigel has been involved with mental health issues throughout his working life, from early research within isolated mental hospitals and therapeutic communities to teaching, research and policy analysis for the Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health, NIMHE and other health and local authorities. Nigel has conducted research projects including the experience of long stay patients in the community and the development of mental health services. Ian Hughes

Ian Hughes

Ian has been a Non-Executive Director and Trustee of RF since 2005 and is a member of the Remuneration Committee. He is also a member of RF's Health & Safety and People & Organisation Development Advisory Groups.

Ian holds a post as Visiting Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Leeds and runs an educational consultancy. Ian was Chair of Leeds Partnerships NHS Foundation Trust from 1998 to 2011 and continues to act as a Mental Health Act manager. He is Chair of Speciality School Boards for the London Deanery, is a Panel Chair for the Judicial Appointments Commission and sits on Fitness to Practise Panels for the Teaching Agency and the Health & Care Professions Council.

Rebecca Pritchard

Rebecca Pritchard

Rebecca has been a Non-Executive Director and Trustee of RF since 2007 and a Non-Executive Director and Trustee of RF Employment & Training since 2001. Rebecca is a member of the RF Group's Audit & Assurance Committee and a member of the Service Governance and Information Governance Advisory Groups.

Rebecca has been Deputy Director of the Crime Reduction Initiative since 2010. She has spent her career in the social housing sector, holding a number of national roles in government, the National Housing Federation and various supported housing organisations, focusing on homelessness. She has also been a non-executive director of a number of homelessness projects and a school governor.

Rebecca's first degree was in geography; she has a diploma in housing and an MBA. Declaration of Interests >

Barbara Deacon-Hedges

Barbara Deacon-HedgesBarbara has been a Non-Executive Director and Trustee of RF since 2007, and a Non-Executive Director and Trustee of RF Employment & Training since 2003. She is Chair of the RF Group's Audit & Assurance Committee.

Barbara is a social care consultant, and was a senior performance auditor for the Audit Commission, specialising in social care. She is a qualified social worker and practice teacher, having spent over 15 years working in social services, including setting up the UK's first integrated education/training/work scheme for severely mentally ill people. She has an MBA and a PhD in Accountability Structures. She is a magistrate, a member of the Upper Tier Tribunal Service and a visiting lecturer in creative social work solutions at several universities. Declaration of Interests >

Stephanie de la Haye

Stephanie de la HayeStephanie has been a non-executive director of RF since 2009. Before that, she was a non-executive director and trustee of RF Employment & Training until it merged into RF in 2007.

Stephanie is the chair and co-founder of Business Boosters Network CIC. She is also a freelance trainer, consultant and researcher, delivering in mental health and well-being with 27 years of "expert by experience" as she has used most of the different types and levels of service provision. Stephanie delivers AHMP and mental health advocacy training within occupational health, social work and mental health nursing, and was part of the IMHA national training team for the Department of Health.

Stephanie's extensive profile includes being a practice assessor for a BA in Social Work and a research associate and peer researcher in a number of academic contexts. She is an executive member of Sheffield Third Sector Assembly, Chair & Founder of Survivors of Depression in Transit (a mental health charity for women) and sits on the executive group of the Social Perspectives Network. Declaration of Interests >

David Brindle

David BrindleDavid was appointed a Non-Executive Director of RF in 2011. He remains a Non-Executive Director of 2Care, an appointment he has held since 2004, and has been 2Care's Chair since 2012.

David is a leading national journalist who has specialised in social policy and taken a particular interest in mental health, both policy and practice, and its representation in the media. He has been Public Services Editor of Guardian Newspapers since 2004 and was a board member of Mental Health Media from 2006 to 2009.
